5 Ways To Stay Motivated As a Blogger

Have you lost your enthusiasm for blogging? Don’t feel like blogging anymore? If yes, then most likely your motivation level has gone down which once was at its peak the day you started blogging. In this post I’m sharing 5 easy ways that can keep you recharged through out your blogging career

1. Take Breaks

The approach of all work and no play can become a demotivating factor in the long run. Have regular breaks whenever possible because once monotony starts creeping in, it siphons off all your enthusiasm and energy for the subject! Moreover, the break presents you with an opportunity to come up with more and creative ideas, which is an important essence of quality content in the blogging world.

2. Stay Away From Those Disparaging You!

Do you have friends who deride your blogging efforts? Laugh at you when you say that you are a blogger and trying to make some money online? If yes, then just ignore them. They even don’t have a shred of idea about what blogging is. Just leave them aside. Don’t let such ignorant people damage your blogging spirit and motivation.

3. Follow The Leaders

This is one of the best ways to stay motivated as a blogger. Follow the pioneers in your niche and keep a close watch on their activities. Their success stories (traffic reports, income statements, etc.) will definitely drive your motivation to the next level. If you are into this very niche (the blogging & SEO niche), I’ll highly recommend you to follow the industry leaders – Darren Rowse, Brian Clark, Rand Fishkin, Sujan Patel and Neil Patel

4. Listen To Your Favourite Music

This one has always worked for me and I believe it will definitely work for you too! Whenever I feel that I’m out of ideas or when I don’t feel like writing anything, I just plug in my earphones, play my favourite songs and the creative thoughts start entering my mind magically! Try this next time and you’ll be amazed at how motivational it can be ;)

5. Be Grateful For Every Little Success

Gratitude is a great multiplier. Even if you’re making just a few cents, be grateful for that. There are millions of others who are struggling to make even that amount. Gratitude, if practiced and felt deep from the heart, can really do wonders. I attracted my first ever pay check from Google by practicing gratitude. I’ll share that incident in my another post. Keep tuned ;)

It’s hard to maintain your motivation as a blogger. There are tons of distractions that can easily knock you off the path. How do you recharge yourself? What do you do to keep your motivation level up? Do share your thoughts in the comments below ;)
